This shelf is bought for weather more than for a sport. The fleece-lined flares are the pieces people write to us about in November: a water-resistant knit with a brushed fleece inside, cut high at the waist with a crossover band on one family and two pockets on all of them, at 28, 28.5, 30, 30.5 and 32 inches so the hem breaks on your shoe rather than above it. The faux-leather leggings and the cropped faux-leather pants are the other half of the shelf, matte on the outside and stretchy underneath, at 25, 27 and 29 inches. Around them sit the capri leggings that stop below the knee, a plain bootcut pant at 30.5 and 32, a pleated wide-leg pant, and three riding breeches, one of them cut for girls.
