SANTINY top

The shelf splits into what you wear to move and what you wear to get there. The tanks are the moving half: racerback, open-back, cropped and loose, in a quick-dry knit, sized XS to 2XL and sold in more colourways than anything else on the site. The polos are the court half, sleeveless or short-sleeved with a collar and a two-to-four-button placket, and every one of them prints UPF 50+ on the label; the long-sleeve tops and the tees carry the same figure on most cards and are the pieces for a trail in full sun. For the cold there is a mock-neck thermal top with a zip pocket, a quarter-zip pullover, a cropped sweatshirt and a sherpa-lined one with pockets. A UPF figure describes dry cloth, and a tee that is soaked through after a run lets more sun in; the sources on this page explain how much. Tanks are cut to sit close and are bought by the bust; polos and sweatshirts are cut looser and are bought by the shoulder.

Which tanks are the loose ones, what a golf polo is cut to do that a tee is not, and how a UPF tee behaves when it is wet.

Do SANTINY tank tops show your bra straps?

The racerback tanks are cut so a racerback bra hides under them and a standard bra shows at the back; the open-back tank shows any bra by design; the loose tank covers more. One buyer on the front page says the racerback cut is high in front and shows a strap behind, which is a fair description of it.

Which SANTINY top do you wear to golf?

A polo: sleeveless with a collar for heat, short-sleeved with a buttoned placket for a club that asks for a sleeve, and every one of them prints UPF 50+ on the label. The tanks have no collar and are the pieces for a gym or a hike.

Is a SANTINY tee see-through on you in white?

White is thinner to look at than black in any single-layer knit, and buyers who ask about the white tank write that a white or nude bra under it does not show and a black one does. In full sun, wear the bra you would not mind being seen.
